• Carter Lake (Larimer County) — South of Fort Collins off US-34, a solid backup if the closer parks are booked solid. About 25 minutes to Old Town.

One honest note: April is shoulder season in Northern Colorado, so campground availability is better than it will be in June or July — but FoCoMX weekend does bring in people, and the nicer sites still go. Book your campsite before you call me, or at the same time. Don’t wait.

Days can be warm and gorgeous — perfect for sitting outside between sets and watching the foot traffic on College Avenue.
